GBOX Supplies - Catalog Platform and Custom Quotation System
GBOX Supplies is a company focused on the sale of specialized equipment and supplies. The project consisted of completely rebuilding its digital presence, transforming a limited one-page site into a modern platform oriented toward catalog navigation, conversion, and commercial growth.
The Challenge
The previous site functioned only as a basic one-page landing page and no longer responded to the real needs of the business. The main issues were:
- Lack of structure to showcase products and categories
- Poor navigation and catalog exploration experience
- Manual and impractical quotation request process
- Lack of SEO-optimized content
- Weak performance on mobile devices
- Limited scalability to keep adding products and content
- Lack of tools that supported the commercial process
In addition, the site did not properly convey the company’s professional level and was not prepared to grow as a commercial platform.
Our Solution
The site was completely rebuilt from scratch using WordPress as the foundation and a custom architecture focused on speed, maintainability, and user experience. The project included the development of a performance-optimized custom theme, complete catalog restructuring, and the organization of new content with a mobile-first, SEO, and Core Web Vitals approach.
One of the most important components was the development of a custom quotation system. Instead of using WooCommerce, a custom plugin was created that allows users to select products from different parts of the catalog and add them to a mini cart designed exclusively for quotation requests.
This made it possible to build a lighter, faster experience aligned with the real business flow, avoiding the unnecessary complexity of a traditional ecommerce setup. The result is a much more flexible platform, prepared to keep growing and to support both user experience and the internal commercial process.
